Since 2009 the University of Pennsylvania has been working with the United States Army’s Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness (CSF2) program to deliver resilience training programs. The purpose of these programs is to teach resilience skills in order to increase resilience and enhance the performance of Soldiers, Family of Soldiers, and Department of the Army Civilians.

The Ready and Resilient Campaign integrates and synchronizes multiple efforts and initiatives to improve the readiness and resilience of the Total Army - Soldiers (Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard), Army Civilians and Families.

The U.S. Army established Warrior Transition Units (WTUs) at major military treatment facilities (MTFs) located around the world. WTUs provide personalized support to wounded, ill and injured Soldiers who require at least six months of rehabilitative care and complex medical management, as well as mobilized Reserve Component Soldiers requiring definitive care.
