In the last episode, I tried to complicate our thinking about "interests." In this episode, I try to complicate our thinking about the ethics of war in terms of the polity, the profession of arms, non-combatants, and you...the military professional (broadly speaking). Ethics 2011 | Framing the Conference: Professional Ethics

Dr. Martin Cook, Admiral James Bond Stockdale Professor of Professional Military Ethics, opens the annual Ethics Conference. An important part of the resident Naval War College curriculum is an examination of aspects of the ethics of the military profession. College of Operational and Strategic Leadership faculty develop the annual leadership and ethics theme, and then execute the ethics conference and ongoing panels and speakers throughout the academic year.
